  • Australian Schools' Basketball Champions

    Congratulations to the U15’s Girls Basketball team who have just been crowned National Champions! A very close game against Berwick College saw the girls win by 2 points, in the last 3 seconds! 


    The U15s team was undefeated leading into the final game, having beaten Lowanna College (VIC), Pymble Ladies College (NSW), Canberra Girls Grammar (ACT), Berwick College 2 (VIC) and Lyneham  High (ACT) in previous games. Congratulations to the whole team, and to Kitty Henderson, who was the leading point scorer in the Division. Team members include: Isabella McAlinden (Yr 7), Lucy Buckley (Yr 9), Bianca Carpenter (Yr 8), Hayley Fell (Yr 8), Caitlin Hale (Yr 7), Catriona (Kitty) Henderson (Yr 7), Sophia Jansens (Yr 7), Olivia Parker (Yr 8), Elles van der Maas (Yr 8) and Lara van der Maas (Yr 9). 


    Congratulations also to the U20’s Girls (Opens), who finished as the Senior Division 2 Grand Champions! They had a 4 Win, 2 Loss record, securing convincing wins against Unley High School (SA), Chevalier College (NSW), Redlands (NSW) and Mullum Cluster (VIC). Team members include: Isabella Carpenter (Yr 9), Kate Farrugia (Yr 11), Mackensie Hargrove (Yr 9), Antonia Henderson (Yr 11), Georgia Maher (Yr 11), Olivia Mills (Yr 9), Liberty Prestidge (Yr 9), Mia Thrum (Yr 11) and Teresia Werner (Yr 11).
